Alexandros Sarantaenas (*1994) studies architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH). Dealing with matters of materiality, bonding the past with the present, and a meticulous seeking for the unforeseen beauty, form the core of his work. He attempts to trace in the craft, in his environment of routine—and ultimately through the objects he is touched by personally.
